WWE confirms Ladder Match with big stipulations for premiere of SmackDown on FOX

Big ladder match confirmed for Smackdown premiere on FOX

WWE has officially confirmed the Ladder Match with big stipulations between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon for the premiere episode of SmackDown on FOX.

The premiere episode will emanate live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles Friday, October 4 beginning at 8:00 pm ET.

Documents from Shane’s lawyers will hang above the ring in a briefcase. If Owens loses, he will stay “fired” and drop his $25 million wrongful termination lawsuit against Shane. If shane loses he will be forced to leave WWE.

WWE has previously announced the following matches for the big premiere next Friday night on FOX:

WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley

The premiere episode is also being advertised as a 20th Anniversary Special with several WWE Hall of Famers scheduled to appear which includes Trish Stratus, Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and Sting.
