WWE recently announced that John Cena appears on cover of the latest issue of “Good Housekeeping” Magazine alongside Lori Byrd, the winner of the magazine’s Hometown Heroes contest. Byrd is a firefighter in Jacksonville, FL.
CBS Affiliate WJAX-TV in Jacksonville is featuring Byrd’s story which includes her rescuing a mother and her child after they had crashed their vehicle into a retention pond right by the bank that Byrd was working at during the time.
Cena plays a firefighter in the upcoming film “Playing with Fire” which opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, November 8.
The film is about a firefighter who, along with his team, is tasked with babysitting three siblings.
