WWE touts reaching 50 million subscribers on YouTube, WWE Backstage to air tomorrow

WWE reaches 50 million YouTube subscribers

WWE announced today that they have surpassed 50 million subscribers on their YouTube channel.

The 50 million subscribers makes WWE the No. 1 Sports channel on YouTube, putting them ahead of the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and others. Their videos have also been viewed 36.6 billion times, making it the fourth most-viewed channel in the world.

WWE Backstage to air tomorrow on FS1

It was announced earlier that immediately following tomorrow’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which is on FS1 for one night only, a special edition of WWE Backstage will air.

The show will be hosted by Renee Young and Booker T with NXT’s Finn Balor joining them as the special guest.

WWE Backstage debuted a pilot episode on October 15 following coverage of MLB’s American League Championship game between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros. The show will air every Tuesday at 11 p.m. Eastern/10 Central on FS1 starting on November 5.
