Three matches and a segment have been confirmed for next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown for its return to FOX.
Next week’s episode, which takes place the day after WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, will see Roman Reigns take on King Corbin. During WWE Backstage last night, Reigns was doing an interview when he was attacked by Corbin. They will both be on opposite sides of the ring for Team Hogan vs. Team Flair at Crown Jewel as well.
Also announced for the show is a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match with The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) challenging the champions The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder). Both teams will be participating in the largest Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the Best Tag Team in the World at WWE Crown Jewel the day before.
We will also see Bray Wyatt appear on Miz TV. Wyatt will face Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with the WWE Universal Championship on the line. Based on the result, Wyatt could be appearing as the WWE Universal Champion on the show. Also, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will team with Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) against Nikki Cross, Carmella, and Dana Brooke.
