During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, the first-ever Women’s WarGames match has been announced.
After losing a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match against The Kabuki Warriors, Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai were involved in a big brawl with NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and the Horsewomen. Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and Candice LeRae wound up also getting involved. Officials had to be called down to separate them, and NXT General Manager William Regal announced the match.
NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler will captain her team of Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir. Rhea Ripley will be the team captain and lead Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Dakota Kai into battle. Ripley’s team needs one more competitor.
First announced to CBS Sports, the article insinuated that Mia Yim could be called upon to even out the sides.
NXT TakeOver: WarGames III takes place on November 23 in Chicago, Illinois.
