AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Ratings up, NXT gets boost from invasion

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for November 6, 2019 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, the sixth episode to go head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 822,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew an average of 759,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 8 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 6 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 813,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is way up from last week’s show that averaged 580,000 viewers, which is a 40% increase. NXT came in at No. 12 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 32 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the head-to-head battle of the so-called “Wednesday Night War” by a mere 9,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

NXT, headlined by The O.C. vs. Ciampa, Lee, and Riddle, averaged a 0.30 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.18 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Jericho and Guevara vs. Page and Omega, averaged a 0.35 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.33 rating.
