Jordan Myles appears to have quit WWE, refers to NXT name as “slave name”

The Jordan Myles situation continues to get worse.

Alfred Hardie, Jr., known as Jordan Myles in WWE and ACH from Ring Of Honor, announced in a profanity laced video that he has quit WWE. Hardie said he refuses to work for a racist company and referred to his “Jordan Myles” moniker as a “slave name.”

“As of today, I like to officially announce that I quit f***ing WWE. I’m no longer employed. I refuse to work for racists. I f***ing quit. F*** them. I hate that f***ing company and everything that they stand for. All they did was hold our people back. I do this s*** for the culture. I don’t need anyone’s f***ing permission to do what I want to do. Screw Jordan Myles. Don’t ever call me by my slave name. Call me ACH and don’t forget the Super, bitch. I quit! F*** you!”

As of this writing, WWE has not commented on whether Hardie is still with the company or not. The Jordan Myles character is still listed on the NXT Superstars page.

The controversy surrounding Hardie began when he took to Twitter to take WWE to task about a t-shirt produced for his character that he said looked like blackface. WWE stated that Hardie was involved in the development of the shirt and when asked to remove it, they immediately did.

Hardie has since deleted his Twitter account. We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
