As announced on last night’s episode of WWE Backstage, The New Day and The Street Profits have signed multi-year contract extensions with WWE.
It was announced earlier this week that Kofi Kingston had signed a five-year contract extension with WWE. As a show of solidarity, the other two members of The New Day signed extensions for the same length and payout. That would put Big E and Xavier Woods as also having five-year extensions. No other terms of the contract were revealed.
Kingston and Big E are currently the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Xavier Woods is out of action with a torn Achilles heel tendon. There is no return date set for Woods.
The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) also signed multi-year contract extensions, but no terms were revealed as to actual length or pay. They are former NXT Tag Team Champions and currently assigned to the Raw brand.
