AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for December 18, 2019 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, the twelfth episode to go head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 683,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 778,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 30 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 11 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 795,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 778,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 27 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 21 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, WWE NXT defeated AEW Dynamite after both shows tied last week in the head-to-head battle of the so-called “Wednesday Night War” by 112,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

NXT, headlined by Shayna Baszler vs. Rhea Ripley, averaged a 0.27 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.24 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by an AEW Tag Team Title match, averaged a 0.25 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 0.28 rating.
