Here are the results of the WWE Smackdown House Show on 5/30/10 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM –
* The arena was about 3/4 full and had a boisterous crowd ALL night which made it a lot of fun
– JTG vs. Cody Rhodes – Winner: JTG via pinfall after whatever his finisher is called
– Kelly Kelly vs. Layla (women’s championship bout), guest announcer Tiffany – Winner: Layla
– David Otunga vs. Chavo – Winner: Chavo via DQ when Heath Slater interfered. Then Chris Masters made the save and Vickie set up a tag match
– David Otunga & Heath Slater vs. Chavo & Chris Masters – Winners: Chavo and Masters via pinfall after a frog splash from Chavo
– Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian – Winner: Christian via pinfall after a killswitch
Intermission (side note = after coming back from intermission, the lights were not functioning properly and the ring was pretty dark. After messing with various set ups, at times there was no light briefly, they decided to turn up the house lights and leave them on for the remainder of the show. Had a very “gymnasium” kind of feel to it with the crowd being lit up and visible)
– Luke Gallows & Masked SES wrestler vs. MVP & Kane – Winners: MVP & Kane via pinfall after Kane chokeslammed Luke Gallows
– Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston (IC title bout) – Winner: Kofi Kingston via pinfall
* Matt Hardy did a run in after the match and attacked McIntyre, Vickie claimed she was going to have Matt Hardy fired
– Big Show vs. Jack Swagger (Heavyweight Title bout) – Winner: Big Show via DQ after being hit with the title by Swagger
