SmackDown Ratings: Viewership up three percent from last week’s near series low

SmackDown Ratings for December 20, 2019 on FOX

Last night’s TLC fallout episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX was up three percent from last week.

This week’s episode which took place in Brooklyn, New York drew an average of 2.414 million viewers according to the Fast Nationals by showbuzzdaily.com. 

This is up from last week’s near series low which averaged 2.338 million viewers.

In terms of overall viewers, SmackDown trailed all other programming on the regular networks except for the Global Citizen Awards show that aired on CBS.

SmackDown did top all of network television in the 18-49 demgraphics with a 0.70 rating.

The actual ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.493 (up from 2.420 million viewers from last week) 

Hour 2: 2.336 (up from 2.257 million viewers from last week)

This week’s SmackDown, headlined by The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro, as noted above, averaged a 0.70 rating among adults 18-49, which is the same number from last week.
