WWE taped the Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler match for this coming Tuesday’s New Year’s Eve special in Detroit, Michigan after Friday Night SmackDown went off the air.
Several other reports indicated that Reigns defeated Ziggler with a spear.
Maria Menounos served as the guest ring announcer for the match.
Menounos will also serve as a co-host the FOX’s New Year’s Eve special with Steve Harvey live from Times Square” that will air Tuesday, December 31 beginning at 8:00pm ET.
