According to CBS affiliate WKYT-TV in Corbin, Kentucky, WWE, in an effort to promote this Sunday’s WWE Live Event at the Corbin Arena, is kicking off a grassroots campaign to have the southern city of Corbin in Kentucky renamed to King Corbin.
Also according to the report, WWE representatives, as well as a WWE camera crew will be out in front of the Colonel Sanders statute in downtown Corbin Sunday afternoon to collect signatures for a petition to make the name change.
In addition, the WWE crew will be handing out free tickets for Sunday’s show at the Corbin Arena.
It was also noted that tickets purchased for the postponed May 2019 and October 2019 events will be honored.
