Andrade suspended by WWE

According to multiple reports, WWE United States Champion Andrade has been suspended by WWE for a Wellness Policy violation. WWE is expected to announce the suspension tomorrow, January 28.

The suspension is slated to begin tomorrow and last for 30 days. Andrade would be eligible to come back on February 27. This is his first wellness policy violation. Andrade was given a Hammerlock DDT on the exposed floor by Humberto Carrillo on tonight’s Raw to seemingly write him off for the time being.

It is not known if his United States Championship reign will be affected. It is also not known if Zelina Vega, his manager, will be off television for the time being. PWInsider is reporting that Andrade will return to Mexico while serving the suspension.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
