The Hart Dynasty headline upcoming FCW event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

** A HART FILLED NIGHT
FCW COMES TO DELAND, FL**

Deland, Fl – June 16, 2010

The hard hitting fast paced action that has become synonymous with Florida Championship wrestling is gearing up to roar into Deland tonight, Wednesday June 16th. Fans attending the show will have the rare opportunity to meet the current Unified World Tag Team Champions David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natalya who are collectively known in the WWE as the Hart Dynasty.

The Dynasty captured the Unified Tag Team Titles after successfully defeating WWE Superstars Big Show and the Miz this past April. Ever since, the trio has begun cementing a legacy in the WWE much like other Hart family members of the past. David Hart Smith is the son of former WWE Superstar, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, Natalya is the daughter of former WWE Star, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart while Tyson Kidd was mentored and trained by WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart inside the famed Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The champions can be seen every Monday Night on WWE’s flagship program-Monday Night Raw. “Our family has such a rich history in this business so we have a great deal to live up to” said Natalya. “Every night that we head to the ring, we proudly carry a piece of our history with us and use it as motivation to get better.”

The Hart Dynasty will be signing autographs prior to the night’s event which will feature eight big matches. It’s a homecoming of sorts for all three who cut their teeth throughout the ranks of Florida Championship Wrestling. “It seems like yesterday that David Hart Smith and I were the Florida Tag Team Champions” recalls Tyson Kidd. “We both started training up in Canada while we were both in elementary school and more than fifteen years later we are now the Unified Tag Team Champions. FCW played a large part in preparing us for this.” The sentiment was echoed by the 6’5 250 pound David Hart Smith whose size is a resounding testament to the large frame sported by his late father, Davey Boy Smith. “I really enjoyed my time in FCW. It gave me a great opportunity to improve my craft which is something we are constantly doing when we’re on the road with the WWE.”

This Wednesday’s card will feature all the stars of Florida Championship Wrestling including the Florida Heavyweight Champion-Alex Riley. Riley is one of eight FCW stars who have recently been featured on the second season of WWE’s hybrid live event/reality show series called NXT. A host of NXT superstars from both season one and two are expected to be in action as well as the many second and third generation athletes who make up the roster. “I look at how FCW started and I look at all the talent we’ve produced and sometimes I’m a little taken aback” says FCW President Steve Keirn. “All the men and women who come through our doors work extremely hard and they sacrifice a lot to pursue their dreams. Whenever we see them move on to the WWE, it’s like watching our kids graduate and leave the family. I’m sad that they’re not around but I’m ecstatic over the opportunity they receive to become the next wave of superstars for the WWE Universe.” Keirn is joined by wrestling legends Dr. Tom Prichard and Norman Smiley who handle the training duties for FCW’s up and coming superstars.

FCW is the only Official Developmental territory of World Wrestling Entertainment.
