WWE reportedly “tampering” with contracted MLW talents

According to PWInsider, Major League Wrestling attorneys engaged WWE attorneys this past week, alleging that WWE is “attempting to tamper” with contracted MLW talents.

Also, as per the same report, this was not specifically related to Davey Boy Smith Jr. (Harry Smith) appearing on this past Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump online show, but regarding “multiple talents.”

Major League Wrestling contracts, since 2018, specifically forbids its talents from working WWE dates, including direct communication with signed MLW talents, and is said to be seen as a breach of contract according to MLW management.

It is being said that an MLW source claimed that the promotion had an “abundance” of evidence should the matter need to go to court, but is hopefull this will not happen.
