According to a new report from PWInsider, The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) continue to file for new trademarks.
The report indicates the tag team filed on February 18 to trademark “Top Guys”, “Say Yeah,” and “No Flips, Just Fists.”
All three trademarks were for “G & S: Hats; Hooded sweatshirts; Pants; Shirts” and “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
The trademarks are speculative that Dawson and Wilder are planning for a post-WWE future.
It is believed their WWE contracts are set to expire this April. However, it has also been reported WWE added another 10 weeks to Wilder’s contract due to the time he missed in 2016 with a broken jaw.
In May of 2019, the team was reportedly offered a 5-year deal worth $500,000 per year, which they turned down.
The Revival are two-time NXT Tag Team Champions, two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, and have held the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships on one occasion.
Last month, both men also filed to trademark “FTRKO” and “Shatter Machine” which is the name of their finisher.
