"Stay-at-Home" order issued in Orange County Florida

According to WOLF FOX 35 In Orlando, Flordia, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings on Wednesday, issued a mandatory “stay-at-home” order which is scheduled to begin on 11:00pm ET Thursday night and will remain in effect until April 9 at 11:00 pm ET. 

Orange County includes the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and Full Sail University in Winter Park. The”stay-at-home” order applies to all individuals within Orange County.

Unless residents work for an essential business or are doing an essential activity, they must stay home.

The mandated order for Orange County residents states they must stay home and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Residents will only be permitted to run errands, such as visiting a health or veterinary care professional, obtaining medical supplies or medication, obtaining financial or legal services, obtaining food, grocery items or other household consumer products. Those residents that work for an essential business or are doing an essential activity must stay home.

WESH 2 News as Tuesday is reporting 52 cases of COVID-19 in Orlando.

WWE will have finished up this week, their ambitious set of TV tapings, which includes both nights of WrestleMania 36 from the Orlando, FL area just as the “stay at home” order goes into effect.

We previously reported that Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke under self-quarantine after potential exposure to COVID-19. It has not yet been confirmed if they are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus.

As of this report, there is no statement from WWE on what their plans are after WrestleMania for Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
