Roman Reigns reportedly out of WrestleMania title match, replacement to be announced

Roman Reigns out of WrestleMania

According to a new report by Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, Roman Reigns will not be part of the WWE Universal Championship match against Goldberg at WrestleMania 36.

Reigns reportedly told WWE officials that he did not feel comfortable performing at the Performance Center while the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic was happening. Reigns is immunocompromised stemming from his battles with leukemia in the past, including a well-publicized battle in 2018, and did not want to risk his health.

WWE honored the request and will replace him, though who that replacement will be against Goldberg is currently unknown.

Wrestleview reached out to WWE to confirm the story, but the request was not immediately returned. We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
