According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE announcer Michael Cole has been promoted to Vice President of Announcing within the company.
It is being said that Cole was promoted to his new corporate position several weeks ago.
Cole has been with WWE since 1997. In addition to working as a lead announcer on Raw and now Friday Night SmackDown, he has also been a heel character, which included a feud and a match against Jerry “The King” Lawler at WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta, GA.
