AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for April 8, 2020 are now in.
AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 692,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by showbuzzdaily.com.
This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 819,000 viewers on TNT.
AEW Dynamite came in at No. 32 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 37 where they placed last week.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT drew an average of 693,000 viewers on Wednesday night.
NXT was up 17 percent from last week’s show that averaged 590,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 51 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 74 where they had placed last week.
In overall viewership, NXT defeated AEW Dynamite for the first time in the the fifthteenth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by just 1,000 viewers.
Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT
WWE NXT, featuring Tomasso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano, averaged a 0.19 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.15 rating they had last week.
AEW Dynamite, headlined by the start of the TNT Championship, averaged a 0.26 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.25 rating.
