Earlier this evening during a press conference in the Rose Garden, President Donald J. Trump announced WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will be part of a panel to help advise him as to when to re-open the United States economy.
President Trump listed McMahon (calling him “The Great Vince McMahon”) among a number of other sports commissioners that will advise him about the best way to open the United States back up and jumpstart the economy. Among those listed as members of the committee will be NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. UFC President Dana White will also be included.
It is not known when this advisory committee will convene. Trump did state that he expects 29 states to return to normal and wants to have sports back.
