NXT Injury Report: Details on Tony Nese and NXT North American Champion Keith Lee

WWE has posted the latest NXT injury report from April 23 on their YouTube Channel, which can be viewed above.

There are two injures to report following Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT that aired on the USA Network.

It should be noted that these injuries are largely considered to be part of a storyline. However, legitimate injuries are usually put in with the ‘fabricated’ injuries.

Tony Nese was said to have tweaked his forearm when Kushisa put on the Sakuraba Lock for the victory. Nese in their NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament match. Nese was seen to be in pain after the match. Nese’s next opponent in the tournament will be the recently released Drake Maverick.  It was noted that Nese should be ready despite his tweaked forearm.

Current WWE NXT North American Champion Keith Lee suffered a bruised larynx after Damian Priest hit him twice in the throat with a nightstick during the main event. It was noted that Lee’s symptoms are being monitored and should be cleared to defend his title against Priest during next Wednesday’s night’s episode.
