WWE SmackDown Ratings: Overnight ratings sees viewership drop under 2 million

WWE SmackDown Overnight Ratings: May 1, 2020

This week’s edition, which again took place again in an empty WWE Performance Center, drew an average of 1.919 million viewers on Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by showbuzzdaily.com.  

This is down again from last week’s show that saw 2.005 million viewers. 

If the number becomes final, last night’s show would be down 4.3 percent from last Friday night’s episode, which would make this SmackDown the lowest rated episode on FOX.

The final ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a change to Friday’s preliminary ratings. 

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 1.941 (down from 2.050 million viewers last week)

Hour 2: 1.896 (down from 1.978 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, which featured Daniel Bryan vs. King Corbin averaged a 0.20 rating among adults 18-49.  This number is down from last week’s 0.50 rating.
