WWE and AEW could be closer to having fans allowed at shows in Florida

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held at a press conference Wednesday stating that bars, movie theaters and other entertainment venues are re-opening in 64 counties beginning this Friday, June 5 at 50 percent capacity with proper social distancing. This new move comes as the Florida is heading into its Phase 2 of a 3 step plan to re-start the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

It was noted that the changes do not apply to the three-hardest hit counties which are Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

With the move to the second phase, WWE and AEW could be getting closer to having fans return to their television shows in the state of Florida.

WWE has been holding Raw and SmackDown on a closed-set at the Performance Center in Orlando, which is in Orange County, while AEW has been holding their Dynamite show on a closed-set at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, which is in Duval County.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
