WWE Creative consolidated

WWE issued a press release announcing a major change to the creative team.

Both teams from Raw and SmackDown will be consolidated into one group with Bruce Prichard leading the team. Paul Heyman, who was the Executive Director of Raw, will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.

Here is the full press release from WWE:

In an effort to streamline our creative writing process for television, we have consolidated both teams from Raw and SmackDown into one group, led by Bruce Prichard. Paul Heyman will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.

Heyman, who has served as the on-air advocate for Brock Lesnar, was put in charge of the Raw brand in June 2019 as the Executive Director. His responsibility was to oversee the creative development of the brand. Prichard was brought in to replace Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown after Bischoff was fired.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
