During tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon appeared on video to confront the SmackDown Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley

Stephanie indicated that there will be a Triple Brand Battle Royal on next Friday night’s episode of SmackDown to determine who will challenge Bayley at SummerSlam for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

We reported earlier this week that WWE is considering having SummerSlam in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Vince McMahon reportedly wants one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year, to have a different look, as every show since the COVID-19 pandemic has taken place at the WWE Performance Center, with the exception of some cinematic matches.  

It is also being said that McMahon wants to have fans in attendance at SummerSlam, which is taking place on Sunday, August 23. 

Triple Brand Battle Royal announced to determine Bayley’s SummerSlam challenger

Bayley has made a lot of enemies during her run as SmackDown Women’s Champion. Now those enemies will have their chance to pay back the outspoken role model next week on SmackDown.

Stephanie McMahon joined SmackDown to announce a Triple Brand Battle Royal to determine Bayley’s challenger for the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam. Superstars from Raw, NXT and SmackDown will do battle for a career-changing opportunity at “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”

Who will appear in the high-stakes Battle Royal? Will one of Bayley’s blue brand rivals step up to the challenge or will a Raw or NXT competitor stake their claim to the title opportunity?
