WWE SmackDown Ratings: Best viewership since June for the debut of the ThunderDome

The SmackDown Ratings are in for August 21, 2020.

This week’s edition, which took place in the WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center, drew an average of 2.168 million viewers on Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 1.979 million viewers.

This is SmackDown’s best viewership since June 26 when the show did 2.174 million viewers. The theme of the show was a tribute to The Undertaker.

The actual ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a significant change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.189 (up from 1.932 million viewers last week)

Hour 2: 2.146 (up from 2.025 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, featuring an Intercontinental Championship Match, averaged a 0.60 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.50 rating they had last week.
