Details on WWE’s contract with the Amway Center, PPV taking place on September 27

Amway Center details

More details have emerged about the WWE’s deal with the Amway Center.

According to Spectrum News 13’s Greg Angel, the company must spend at least $200,000 to rent the Amway Center. Here is the breakdown for all events:

— $12,500 for events on Sundays
— $10,000 for events on Monday and Friday
— $7,500 for any other days WWE works inside the arena
— $2,500 for any days work is not being done

Also noted in the contract is the company will be holding a PPV event on September 27. It is unclear what that show will be called. WWE can also extend or shorten their lease by giving two weeks notice.

In the tickets section, it says it was left intentionally omitted. This closes the door on the possibility that fans could attend over the course of the lease.

WWE announced a residency at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida last week. They introduced the WWE ThunderDome concept there featuring state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drone cameras.
