After Karrion Kross was forced to vacate the NXT Championship due to a separated shoulder earlier tonight on NXT, plans were made to crown a new champion.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced later in the show that a new champion would be crowned next Tuesday on NXT. Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Bálor, and Adam Cole will battle in a 4-Way 60-Minute Iron Man Match for the vacant NXT Championship.
This is the first 4-Way 60-Minute Iron Man Match in WWE history. The winner of the match will be the person with the most pinfalls or submissions and will be crowned the new NXT Champion.
Also scheduled for the show is a Street Fight with Legado del Fantasma taking on Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and NXT Tag Team Champions Breezango.
WWE NXT moves to Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central next week for one night only due to the NHL Playoffs taking place on Wednesday. We will have full coverage of the show.
