WWE NXT postponed another week on the USA Network; Triple H on NXT UK return

NXT rescheduled to September 8

After announcing a rescheduling of this week’s NXT episode from Wednesday to a day early on Tuesday, it appears next week’s show will also be rescheduled.

The USA Network has next week’s NXT episode listed on Tuesday, September 8. The NHL Playoffs will take place during the show’s usual time slot on September 9. We previously reported that replays of NXT will air on SyFy on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central, the normal time for the show.

As the network does not list its schedule more than two weeks out, it is unknown if the NXT show set for Wednesday, September 16 will be rescheduled.

The “Super Tuesday” themed NXT show tomorrow will feature a 4-Way 60-Minute Iron Man Match for the vacant NXT Championship with Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, and Tommaso Ciampa.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque on the return of NXT UK

NXT UK is set to resume production in September. All production was suspended due to the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic this past March.

Speaking to Metro, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about the measures the company has in place in the wake of the Speaking Out movement in June:

“Part of this is why we started [NXT UK] in the first place – to professionalise and put that system into place where everyone can feel safe and protected, and have a working environment that is inclusive of everyone and the opportunity to do what we do. We take every allegation very seriously, and you can refer back to our policy. It’s zero tolerance for things of this manner. We look into everything. We look into it, we go from there to see what is legitimate, what is not, what is real, what isn’t, and deal with it accordingly.”

In June, WWE reiterated that the company has a zero tolerance policy on all issues of sexual misconduct.
