Last night during the WWE Payback event, WWE announced their next big event.
As we previously reported, on Sunday, September 27, WWE will present Clash of Champions from the WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It will stream live on the WWE Network.
During the broadcast, WWE inadvertently ran a video promoting the event with the date listed as September 20. On the next graphic in front of the announcers, it said it would take place on September 27. WWE has confirmed September 27 is the official date, and it is also listed in the contract with the Amway Center.
Clash of Champions will be the third PPV event to take place at the Amway Center since the residency started in mid-August. This will also be the fourth edition of this event, which WWE introduced in 2016. It replaced WWE Night of Champions.
