The injury to WWE Superstar Ivar may be worse than originally thought.
According to a report by F4WOnline, Ivar is dealing with a significant injury that may require surgery. WWE initially announced that he suffered a cervical injury and would make a full recovery. It is reported that he suffered a stinger, but the prospect of a surgery signals that it is worse than just that.
Ivar took part in an 8-Man Tag Team Match along with Erik, Apollo Crews, and Ricochet to take on The Hurt Business on this past Monday’s Raw. During the match, Ivar hit a suicide dive. Upon landing, Ivar immediately crossed his arms in the “X” sign to indicate a legitimate injury. Medical personnel would check on him following the match.
