WWE announces Wade Barrett has signed to be a full time commentator on NXT

Wade Barrett signs with WWE

Wade Barrett (Stu Bennett) has signed with WWE to remain on the NXT commentary team.

Barrett, who took over the NXT commentating duties on an interim basis after Mauro Ranallo left WWE, has reportedly been in negotiations with WWE to come back as a fulltime commentator.

The commentary team of Barrett, Vic Joseph, and Beth Phoenix will head the broadcasts moving forward.

Barrett last appeared for WWE as a performer in 2016. Since that time he has worked on his acting career. In December 2019, he was made a commentator for NWA Powerrr.
