Man who attempted to kidnap Sonya Deville pleads not guilty to all charges

Sonya Deville stalker pleads not guilty

Phillip A. Thomas II, the South Carolina man who attempted to kidnap Daria Berenato (WWE’s Sonya Deville), has pled not guilty to all charges against him.

Thomas has been charged with aggravated stalking, armed burglary of a dwelling, attempted armed kidnapping, and criminal mischief.

Armed burglary of a dwelling carries a sentence of life in prison if convicted. Aggravated stalking and attempted armed kidnapping are second-degree felonies, each carrying a 15-year sentence. Criminal mischief is a second-degree misdemeanor only carrying a sentence of a fine.

Thomas remains in prison without bail after he was determined to be a threat to the community. A hearing is set for November 12 for Berenato to receive a temporary injunction against Thomas.

Berenato has been off WWE television since losing a Loser Leaves WWE match at WWE SummerSlam.
