Further details have emerged about the untimely passing of WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Joseph “Animal” Laurinaitis.
TMZ Sports is reporting Laurinaitis passed away of natural causes at the age of 60.
Laurinaitis passed away on September 22 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. The police received a distress call from Laurinaitis’ wife at around 11:49 p.m. When deputies arrived, they found that Laurinaitis had already passed away.
Laurinaitis and his wife were celebrating their wedding anniversary the day he died.
The family of Joe Laurinaitis issued a statement through his Twitter account that the would be making a statement about his passing later today.
