The legendary Jim Ross announced earlier today that he would be undergoing heart surgery on Monday to put in a stent.
On Twitter, JR wrote:
“Big wk..appearence thurs @ lucky star casino near okc @ 6, ou-tex sat, wwe ppv sun & stent to be put in 1 of my arteries in my heart mon.
Thanks 4 the well wishes. I’m going 2 be fine. I’m very positive & will remain such. My overall health is better than its been in yrs.
No..the heart stent wasn’t expected but no hill 4 a stepper. Short hospital stay if all goes well Mon & it will. Still will attend OU game.”
