WWE couple getting a new game show; WWE files more trademarks for NXT UK names

Miz and Maryse pitch new game show

The Miz and Maryse are developing a new game show with WWE Studios.

Appearing on the Virtual Equality Lounge along with Charly Caruso and Susan Levison, the Senior Vice President and Head of WWE Studios, Mike “The Miz” Mizanan revealed the company is developing a game show with him and his wife, Maryse. This was part of Advertising Week 2020.

The show is to be named “Brawl in the Family,” which will take elements of popular game shows from the past. There is no word on when it will premiere because it has not been pitched to networks yet.


WWE files more trademarks on NXT UK names and digital service

In addition to the NXT UK names that we reported as trademarked by WWE on Wednesday, WWE has filed for five new trademarks on additional NXT UK names:

— Eddie Dennis
— Dave Mastiff
— Dani Luna
— Candy Flores
— Ashton Smith

The filings were made on October 5. WWE filed for the names under the following description:

IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

WWE also filed a trademark for a digital service: “WWE Watch Along.” The trademark was filed under the following description:
