During Sunday night’s “NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020” WWE teased the return of Karrion Kross to NXT.
During a segment Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett were showing off the new WarGames toy set from Mattel at the announce table, when the lights flicked and then a vignette aired teasing Kross’ return.
Kross has been out of action after he suffered a separated shoulder during his NXT Title win over Keith Lee at “NXT Takeover: XXX” on August 22 during SummerSlam Weekend.
Kross was forced to relinquish the title on the August 26 episode of WWE NXT, and has been off television ever since.
