WWE and Peacock streaming deal five years valued at more than $1 Billion

On Monday, WWE announced NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock will become the exclusive home of the WWE Network in the United States beginning on March 18.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, a person familiar with the deal said it runs five years and is valued at more than $1 billion.

The report also indactes that Alan Gold, a partner at Creative Artists Agency’s advisory and investment Evolution Media, served as an adviser on the new WWE/ NBC Universal/Peacock deal.

It should be noted that the WWE Network will continue to operate as a stand-alone subscription based service outside of the United States as nothing will change for international subscribers.
