The report states that Sullivan was quietly released last month. The report also notes that WWE officially confirmed to PWInsider that Sullivan is no longer with the company.
FW4Online is also confirming that Sullivan has been released.
Miley signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2013 after initially training under Bobby Lashley in Colorado. Miley debuted as Lars Sullivan in NXT in May 2017.
His debut on the main roster was on Raw in January 2019. He was then removed from WWE television until April 2019, where he attacked Kurt Angle on Raw the night after WrestleMania 36. This would lead to a series of angles where Sullivan would attack babyfaces on Raw. However, Sullivan would then spend time away from WWE due to personal issues that included message board posts with racist and homophobic remarks.
Sullivan’s last match was on the October 23, 2020 episode of Friday Night SmackDown defeating Chad Gable.
As of this report, WWE has not made an official announcement. We will have more as this story develops.
WWE Superstar Titus O’Neill later took to Twitter to note that Miley approached the WWE roster to apologize. You can read O’Neill’s Twitter post below:
.@LarsSWWE I Applaud you for seeking out myself&Others on the @WWE Roster to not only Sincerely Apologize, But also seek Guidance as to how to move forward in being a Better Human Being than you were 9years ago. Nobody is Perfect Including Thank you @VinceMcMahon 4Taking action!!
