WWE signs former University of Central Florida football player

According to a new report by F4WOnline, WWE has signed former University of Central Florida football player Parker Boudreaux to a WWE developmental deal.

Boudreaux is an offensive lineman on the university’s football team.

It was first reported by Fightful that Boudreaux, who is said to bear a resemblance to Brock Lesnar, was backstage a recent WWE NXT television taping, where an agreement on a deal between he and WWE was made.

Even though the University of Central Florida is in Orlando, it’s unclear whether Boudreaux, who is currently a junior at the university will leave school altogether or attend classes to finish out his degree while training at the Performance Center. He is also an Orlando native.

It is also being said that Paul Heyman has endorsed Boudreaux, who is 6 foot 4 inches tall and 315 pounds. After missing the season due to a concussion, he has not been listed on the team’s roster for next season. In high school, he was a standout player and at, one point ranked as the 21st top college recruit in the country by ESPN.

No official start date for Boudreaux has been announced.
