On this week’s episode of Talking Smack on the WWE Network, it was announced that Daniel Bryan will face Jey Uso in a steel cage match on next week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
The stipulation is that if Bryan wins, he will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Fastlane on Sunday, March 21. However, if Jey Uso wins, Bryan then has to acknowledge Reigns as the head of the table, the tribal chief, the best wrestler on the planet, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and the main event of WrestleMania.
Paul Heyman said during Talking Smack he had been authorized by Reigns to offer Daniel Bryan another match against Jey Uso. Bryan wanted it to be a steel cage match.
Bryan said if he loses to Uso he will shake Reigns’ hand and acknowledge him as the best wrestler he’s ever been in the ring with. Reigns then agreed to make the match between Bryan and Uso a steel cage match.
