WWE reportedly signs two Australian talents to developmental deals

WWE signs new talent to development deals

As first reported earlier by PWInsider and later confirmed by F4WOnline, WWE has signed Australian wrestling talents Matty Wahlberg and Steph De Lander to a WWE development deal.

It is being said that both will report to the WWE Performance Center.

The 6’3″ Wahlberg (real name Matt Farrelly) has became most notable in Australia for starring in their version of Survivor in 2019, two years after he made his professional wrestling debut.

The 30-year-old Wahlberg made the announcement this past Friday at the PWA Rumble event that he was leaving the promotion and heading to WWE.

De Lander, 5’ 11” has worked in the United States for SHIMMER, IWA Mid-South and Black Label Pro.

Wahlberg and De Lander join the already large group of trainees at the WWE Performance Center which includes the most female trainees WWE has ever had in one class.
