Meet CM Punk and Beth Phoenix at FCW Wrestling

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

FCW WRESTLING ROLLS INTO HARLEY DAVIDSON WWE’S CM PUNK AND BETH PHOENIX TO APPEAR

Tampa, Fl November 18, 2010

Revved up engines, hard hitting body slams, a star filled show to fit the bill and you have Florida Championship Wrestling’s debut at Harley Davidson of Brandon. The superstars of FCW roll into town on Friday, November 19th and they’re bringing a few special guests along the way, WWE Superstars CM Punk and Beth Phoenix. Both Superstars will be on hand to meet and sign autographs for fans prior to the evenings Supershow along with over ten WWE Superstars and Divas.

Since joining World Wrestling Entertainment in 2006, CM Punk has reigned as the ECW Champion, WWE World Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion and World Champion. Punk has since carved a niche as one of the most controversial personalities in the WWE today. The Chicago native can now be seen every Monday Night on WWE “Monday Night Raw” on the USA Network. Beth Phoenix has become a household name within the WWE’s Diva division having captured the company’s Women’s Championship on three different occasions. Phoenix, also known as “The Glamazon” can be seen every Friday Night on WWE’s “Friday Night Smackdown” on the SyFy Network. “This will be our biggest event of the year so it only makes since to bring in two of the most recognizable names in the WWE today” said FCW President Steve Keirn.

The event, dubbed the “Seminole Hard Rock Hog Wild Tour” will be the first foray for the company at Brandon Harley Davidson. As a matter of fact, unlike most venues for the wrestling promotion, this show will be held outdoors. Fans in attendance will be treated to live music and various vendors in what some might call a festival like atmosphere. “When the men and women of FCW step inside that ring, they feed off the energy from the fans. Now when you take a show like this and mix it with Harley Davidson plus an outdoor setting, there’s a much different feel then what we’ve become used to and that’s a good thing. I have no doubt that it’s going to be very exciting for both our fans and our wrestlers” said Keirn. “Truth be told, this is a historical show for Florida Championship Wrestling and I’m extremely proud to have my name attached to it.”

Eight big matches are scheduled for FCW’s Brandon Harley Davidson debut which will feature stars from WWE’s RAW, Smackdown NXT Seasons 2 and 3, the FCW Divas and Heavyweight Champion Mason Ryan. “I can’t wait for this show!” said Brandon resident Timothy Baiden. “I’ve been a wrestling fan for nineteen years now and I’ve probably gone to hundreds of shows but this will be my first time going to an FCW show. I’m really looking forward to meeting CM Punk, Beth Phoenix and seeing the FCW Superstars in the ring.”

Starting at 5:30 pm fans can enter the Seminole Hard Rock fan fest which features 4 autograph stages, Wiley Fox in Concert, Harley Davidson photo booth, exhibitors, concessionaires and much More. All proceeds from beer sales benefit the Angelus. The event is sponsored by Seminole Hard Rock, Harley-Davidson of Brandon, Buddy’s Home Furnishings, Imprinted Warehouse, TBT, Born to Ride, Ierna’s Heating & Cooling, Barnacles, The Rack, Dallas Bull and the Dallas Bull.
