Late Tuesday night, WWE Superstar Shotzi Blackheart confirmed on Twitter that she is out with an injury.
Twitter user @themoe853 posted a question asking where about where Blackheart is, and if she is injured. Shotzi responded with “Yup.”
Blackheart did not reveal any specific details about her injury, or how long she might be out of action. Shotzi last appeared on the May 25, 2021 episode of NXT, where she and Ember Moon defeated Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai in a tag team match. Post-match, Gonzalez began a vicious attack with power-bombing Blackheart into the Plexiglas barrier. She then threw Blackheart against the ring post, and then followed up by dropping her onto the barrier, as Kai kept Moon in the corner of the ring.
It is most likely the beat-down angle was done to temporarily write Blackheart off WWE NXT television while she recovers from her injury.
