WWE news and notes: Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Paul Heyman

WWE news and notes

It is being said the mentions of Daniel Bryan on WWE TV as of late is not an indication he is coming back to WWE, but rather because he is part of the story being told of Roman Reigns vs. Edge following their three-way match at this year’s WrestleMania. The word is nobody really knows what Bryan is doing, or if he has made a secret deal with any company. If he has made a deal, it is being kept a secret until doing a huge reveal when they want to.

John Cena’s next movie is Argylle, which begins filming in Europe this August.  It is not clear how this would affect Cena’s planned SummerSlam match that is rumored to be with Roman Reigns.  It is also not clear how this would affect his return to WWE television to build up his match against Reigns.

Paul Heyman reportedly has been removed from Talking Smack permanently, and replaced by Pat McAfee. It is being said there was no real reason for the decision but that everything can change tomorrow in WWE.  The word is that there are questions about how to handle Talking Smack when WWE returns to touring, mainly because FOX doesn’t want Talking Smack airing before the West Coast replay. Reportedly there is not this same level of concern with Raw Talk for the West Coast airing.
