Randy Orton announced today, that he is making his return to Raw tonight. WWE also confirmed Orton’s announcement.
Orton also noted in his announcement that he will kick off tonight’s show, which will air live from the Amway Center in Orlando, FL.
Orton’s last appearance on Raw was back on June 21, when he lost a singles match to John Morrison. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville then announced the following week, that Orton was unable to compete in the Second Chance Money In the Bank PPV Qualifier due to “circumstances out of their control,” but no further reason was given.
Reports had surfaced late last month that Orton was put on WWE’s disabled/inactive list, with no explanation provided.
