WWE releases new NXT teaser clip for relaunch coming September 14

WWE releases new NXT teaser clip

WWE NXT posted a teaser clip on Twitter with a tease for the new rebranded NXT that will launch on September 14.

Reports this past week from several media outlets indicated that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will not be  be producing the show on a weekly basis, as originally reported, but will be making more “big picture decisions” with NXT.  This is to include creative, branding, and marketing. Reports also noted that Nick Khan, John Laurinaitis, and Kevin Dunn were said to be more involved with NXT related decisions.

It has been stated in some reports that more of the day-to-day work will still be handled by Triple H, Shawn Michaels, William Regal, and Matt Bloom. However, it has been further said in additional reports that with more higher-ups looking at NXT, Triple H will likely lose some power with the direction for the new NXT.

NXT has been taped over the last several weeks, as the Capitol Wrestling Center at the Performance Center has gone through a revamp with reconfigured seating, lighting and other cosmetic changes.
