– BBC News in the United Kingdom covered Mason Ryan’s debut from RAW when he joined Nexus yesterday, giving the Welsh FCW Heavyweight champion some good publicity. His father Malcolm was also interviewed and said he and his wife are very proud as any parent would be. “He wants now to beat all of them, beat all the best and be number one in America. That’s his aim from the beginning,” he said. His mother, while happy for her son’s success, admitted that she’s scared when she sees him in the ring. “I have to be honest when they are there in the ring and throwing all sorts of things about, well – it does make me a little bit nervous,” she said. She also added that her 28 year old son made a statement that he wants to conquer the world. “Maybe that’s his vision, that’s his aim,” she concluded. The BBC News – one of the most respected news sources in the UK – very rarely covers professional wrestling but since this was a local making a big splash in the United States, well, it made for good TV.
